Juliana turned five this past weekend. I can't believe she will be in kindergarten. We sent her to my moms for the whole weekend (actually from Wed. night until Monday). We painted the guest room pink and moved her stuff in there. The room is actually smaller but has a huge walk-in closet that I'm hoping will become her play area. The room is really cute. The pictures I took with my phone don't really do it justice, but they are pictures. She had no idea we were doing this so it was really fun when we got home on Monday to see her face. She kept looking at me going, but this is daddy's room. On Monday we went to Lagoon. One of my great friends made her birthday cake for her. Thanks Amber! She had a blast hanging out with her cousins. She got pretty spoiled. She received lots of new clothes and a couple of new barbies. We did her room, got her some books, and a dinosaur think that is a block of clay and she has to carefully excavate to get her dinosaur bones, and most important a pool (it's just a bigger kiddie pool that has a little slid on it). She loves the pool. She was out there today. She has been in swimming lessons so she can hold her breath and loves to go under the water. She's a bit of a fish. At grandma's house she went fishing and caught her very own fish on her own. When she called I couldn't believe it. She also ate her fish which this is a child who tells me she doesn't like fish, but she loved hers. It was also the biggest one they caught. She got to go swimming with Grandma and Cayden. She really had a fun weekend at her grandparents. We had a blast watching all the kids run from getting off the ride to the front of the line. There were not that many people at Lagoon so it was a great day to go. It also wasn't that hot and would have been prefect other than the stupid humidity. All in all it was a fun way to celebrate Juliana's birthday!
