Day 1

This was of course travel day. We left Friday afternoon at about noon, we were aiming for Juliana's nap time so that she would sleep through some of the drive. It was not to bad Juliana slept until about Cove Fort, unfortunately we had to go to Las Vegas so she was still awake for most of the drive. She did really well until Mesquite. She wanted out of the car and kept telling us to get her out of here. It was really funny, but not for an hour. Finally she settled down to watch Cinderella, but even that didn't help for very long. We also didn't know that there was construction on I-15 in Vegas it was down to two lanes at about 4:00 on a Friday traffic was not moving. It took us an hour to get to my in-laws house. Brian also decided to get off early and we drove through the ghetto, it was a rather eye opening experience. As we were driving up the street this white car came flying up the turning lane almost hit a pedestrian who was trying to cross the road and by the time we got to the stop light they were still there waiting to turn so I don't know the big hurry was. We finally made it to Las Vegas at about five or four in Vegas and we just got to visit with Brian's family. It was a lot of fun. We went to dinner with my in-laws and Brian's little brother Nate. Juliana can't get enough of Nate he is one of her most favorite people.
